Waitlist privacy notice

This notice covers the Keel Books waitlist on keelbooks.ca. The waitlist is run by Keel Books, 870 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R3M 2M7.

What we collect. Your email address and, if you choose to give them, your first name, province, preferred language, whether you are an accountant or bookkeeper, and whether you would like early access as a design partner. We also record when you agreed to hear from us and the exact wording you agreed to, because Canada's anti-spam law requires us to keep that record.

Why. To email you about the launch of Keel Books and the founding-member offer, and, if you asked, about early access. Nothing else. We never sell or share the list.

Where it is stored. In a database in Montreal, Canada, kept separate from the Keel Books product. Confirmation and launch emails are sent through Resend, an email service whose servers are in the United States; it receives your email address and name only to deliver our messages.

No tracking cookies. This site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.

How long we keep it. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed sign-ups are kept until Keel Books launches and the offer period ends, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address and the date, so we never email you again by mistake.

Your choices. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. To see, correct or delete your information, write to privacy@keelbooks.ca.
